
Malta Schools would like to give a sincere Thank You to MEC Electrical Contractors LLC, for making a $5000 donation to our district. Their donation will be used to fund innovative educational programs that will expand opportunities for our students.
MEC was able to take advantage of the Innovative Education Program Tax Credit offered by the Montana Department of Revenue. This program allows businesses and individuals to make a donation to public schools to fund innovative educational programs and receive a dollar-for-dollar credit on their Montana income tax that is transferable for up to three years.

Congratulations to the MHS FFA team who competed at the Fall Districts on Oct. 1. The Livestock Team consisting of AJ, Layla, Karlie and Courtney took 1st place.
Individually in Livestock - 1st place went to Karlie, and 2nd place to Layla.
The Horse Team consisting of AJ., Karlie, and Kenzie finished in 4th place.
The Range Team finished in 4th with Lola winning the individual 1st Place.
All three teams will head to State.

MHS Culinary Arts class visited 54 Prime to learn about cooking proteins from Chef David Wandrie. Thank you to Chef Wandrie and his staff for taking the time to work with our students!

Mrs. Veit's class recently investigated the properties of materials: softness, stiffness, and absorbency. Then the kids had fun creating a hat that provides shade using limited materials that may have been found in a lunchbox.
